world. After being reactivated by a Japanese fan a few years ago, playing sold-out shows in Japan,
Canada and the USA in 2018 and touring Europe for the first time ever in 2019, the band, still
touring with all the original members from 1978, is coming back to Europe with their highly infectious

Born in the summer of 1978 as the brainchild of two elementary school friends, Nick Jones (vocals)
and Bill Napier-Hemy (guitar), they recruited Tony Bardach (bass) and his bandmate Ian Tiles
(drums) from the Vancouver scene and soon after Gord Nicholl (keyboards) joined the band. The
rest is history. Back in 1979, The Pointed Sticks were signed to Stiff Records. Now they are
represented by Northern Electric. Get ready for one of the most unique masterpieces in pop history,
with the original line-up!
