Iggy Pop & Josh Homme's "Post Pop Depression" out on 18th March

This incredible collaboration has been kept secret since January, when the so-called "Godfather of Punk" Iggy Pop annouced his new record featuring Josh Homme, ex-Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age's leader. The album will be out on March the 18th and two singles have already been released by the official Youtube page of Iggy Pop, "Gardenia" and "Sunday". These two tracks brought Iggy back on the good old rock and roll road, forgetting the jazzy-like atmosphere of "Après", his previous solo album released in 2012.
It may be banal to claim that "Gardenia" and "Sunday" are a mix of the classic Iggy Pop solo period and the alternative rock of the Queens of the Stone Age, but this is actually what these two songs sound like. However, this collaboration looks like something which could refresh Iggy's solo carreer and it makes look forward to the release of what could be one of the most interesting albums of the year.
